The Role
* Lead or progressively assume responsibility for trust and estate taxation expertise within the firm.
* Prepare and review tax returns for trusts, estates, individuals, S Corporations, and Partnerships.
* Provide direct client support on tax compliance and planning matters.
* Apply current federal and Illinois tax laws to complex tax situations involving individuals and closely held businesses.
* Support taxation work across estate and gift taxes and related compliance requirements.
* Maintain accurate, well-supported tax work and contribute to effective client service.

The Ideal Candidate
* Has at least four years of public accounting experience preparing and reviewing income tax returns.
* Demonstrates a strong understanding of trust and estate taxation.
* Understands recent federal and Illinois tax legislation.
* Has experience with or knowledge of S Corporation, Partnership, and individual taxation.
* Brings sound judgment, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.
* Is interested in developing specialist expertise and building trusted client relationships.
