- Current Morton College student carrying 6 credit hours in the Fall and Spring. One credit in the Summer.
- Must meet financial aid eligibility.
- Applicant must be in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of a 2.0.

Job Summary- The Welding Classroom Student Aide provides support to the instructor and students in maintaining a safe, organized, and effective learning environment. This position assists with setup, cleanup, inventory, safety monitoring, and basic administrative or instructional tasks as assigned.
Job Duties
- Assist in setting up tools, equipment, and materials before class sessions.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop and classroom environment.
- Help monitor safety procedures and report unsafe practices or hazards to the instructor.
- Inventory supplies and alert the instructor when stock is low or equipment needs repair.
- Assist with basic maintenance of tools and machines (under supervision).
- Ensure all tools are returned and properly stored after use.
- Assist instructor with basic tasks
Salary Range $15.00 per hour
