OverviewThis position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of document control from planning through contract closeout on construction projects and/or programs.

Duties/ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for the coordination and management of project documents. Specific responsibilities include:
- Process documents and maintain electronic and hard copy document control files in accordance with project document control procedures, including usage of web-based project management systems such as Trimble Unity Connect and/or CMMS. Examples of types of project documents include correspondence, field memos, proceed orders, change orders, submittals, pay requests, drawing log, safety notices, RFIs, photos, as-builts, warranties, commissioning reports, non-conformance reports, etc.
- Scan, index, link and distribute documents in approved project management system(s).
- Assist the PM/RE and the Project Team in all matters relative to project documents including the control and distribution of documents, preparing transmittals as required, etc.
- Review and/or conduct quality checks of documents as required,
- Configure, update, and maintain document management control logs and matrices.
- Other duties as required by the project, client, or SQN business needs.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with document control systems.
- Certified in IDOT’s Documentation of Contract Quantities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated process execution skills with strong attention to detail.
- Effective problem-solving with the ability to efficiently switch between tasks productively.
- Proven ability to consistently meet deadlines in a complex environment.
