Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T0732) s role involves delivering a welcoming guest experience, handling transactions, assisting guests with products and services, and supporting store operations to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient shopping environment.

The Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial is $17.50 USD per hour. The Pay Range / Rango salarial is $17.50 USD - $26.25 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
• Engage with guests to understand and solve their needs
• Provide information on current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to resolve issues and improve guest experience
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target
• Know and speak to Target Loyalty benefits and assist with sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality
• Explain and demonstrate features of the Target App and Wallet
• Direct guests to Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering and assist with enrollment and usage
• Handle returns following store policies; escalate to Leaders as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with stocking during store hours
• Operate in a safe, compliant manner and report hazards
• Support guest services and maintain compliance with applicable laws (e.g., adult beverage laws where applicable)
• Perform other duties as required by business needs

• Flexible schedule with reliable attendance
• Ability to stay mobile for the shift duration
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions as required by duties such as Drive-Up and carryout
