Sourcing Procurement Officer

Responsibilities

• Analyze the requirements for supplies (goods or services) based on purchase requests from relevant stakeholders or departments. Identify alternative vendors or suppliers who offer the best value and most competitive prices.
• Expand the supplier base for packaging materials, raw materials, and general items by evaluating and verifying potential suppliers to build a reliable supplier portfolio and minimize risks.
• Conduct negotiations with potential new suppliers regarding prices, minimum order quantities, contracts, etc. Compare offers to ensure procurement of goods or services at competitive prices and optimal value. Provide recommendations for new suppliers to the team.
• Maintain strong relationships and collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners to support operational and business objectives.
• Review and monitor supplier performance to ensure the procurement process is efficient and effective.
• Update and manage the supplier database while continuously improving sourcing processes to achieve operational excellence.
• Ensure all administrative tasks related to sourcing operations are completed accurately and on time to support operational goals.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Management, Commerce, or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in procurement; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Solid knowledge of supplier relationship management, contract management, supply chain, and procurement software.
• Strong skills in cost analysis, vendor management, negotiation, and ERP systems (such as SAP or Axapta).
