Description

Co-ops at Etegent get the opportunity to work on projects that make a difference in a wide range of exciting fields. As an Accounting Co-Op
, you’ll be working on:

  • Assist with accounts payable, payroll, and expense management.
  • Review and process weekly timesheets in Costpoint ERP for labor tracking and payroll.
  • Support employee onboarding by setting up new hires in Costpoint, including data entry and project assignments.
  • Assist with month-end closing processes.
  • Help with accounts receivable management.
  • Provide support for annual budgeting process.
  • Interact with management and operations to answer accounting questions.
  • Compile ad hoc and other internal analyses.
Some Special Projects:
  • Develop and update accounting process documentation to support DCAA compliance requirements.
  • Research and identify automation opportunities in existing workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Support provisional billing rates calculations and analysis.
  • Assist with data quality reviews and reconciliation projects across financial systems.
  • Help build presentations for company-wide financial communications.
  • Conduct tax and forensic accounting research projects as needed.

Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • Possess a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
  • Be currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Applicant must be eligible to receive a U.S. Security Clearance which at a minimum requires applicant to be a US Citizen. See:
    Executive Order 12968 indicates U.S. Citizenship requirement to obtain a security clearance.
