Job Details- Salary $80,000 - $100,000 per year

- Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Participating in regular tax audits and payroll.
- Preparing budgeting reports and conducting forecasting activities.
- Managing month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Conducting detailed risk analyses and financial forecasts.
- Monitoring the daily performance of the accounting department.
- Organizing financial data into usable information and maintaining updated records.
- Tracking the progress of financial and accounting objectives.
- Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Performing and coordinating monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Conducting variance analysis to understand the cause of different cost behaviors.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on general ledger, forecasting, bank reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Proven experience as a senior accountant ideally within manufacturing environments.
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.
- Excellent knowledge of statutory legislation and regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
- Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
