The Assistant Controller will collaborate directly with the CFO, oversee transactional accounting, develop costing models, enhance inventory accuracy, strengthen internal controls, and help build scalable processes and reliable financial analysis/insights for a rapidly expanding organization. Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required; CPA preferred but not mandatory
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate or public accounting, ideally within a manufacturing or product‑based environment
- Strong understanding of GAAP and the month‑end close process
- Prior experience supervising accounting staff
- Cost accounting, inventory analysis and related experience helpful
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with ERP or accounting systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage and protect confidential financial information
- Experience with cost accounting or inventory accounting
- Familiarity with manufacturing, distribution, or retail operations
