Korn Ferry is proud to partner with our client in the search for two Staff Accountants—one with a focus on Accounts Payable (AP) and the other on Accounts Receivable (AR). These roles offer the opportunity to build deep expertise in your focus area while also being cross‑trained across AP, AR, and core accounting functions. As the organization continues to grow, both positions are intentionally designed to evolve into broader Staff Accountant and future senior‑level roles, providing a clear path for professional advancement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Accounts Payable–Focused Role
  • Process vendor invoices with accuracy, including three‑way matching and proper GL coding.
  • Manage weekly check runs, ACH payments, and credit card settlements.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
  • Reconcile AP subledger and assist with month‑end close and expense reporting.
  • Support audits, tax documentation, and general administrative accounting tasks.
Accounts Receivable–Focused Role
  • Generate and distribute customer invoices for sales and service orders.
  • Manage collections, apply payments (cash, checks, ACH, credit cards), and reconcile customer accounts.
  • Maintain customer account data and support timely resolution of billing issues.
  • Contribute to monthly commission calculations and support sales tax returns.
  • Assist with AR‑related audit requests and month‑end processes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, with specific emphasis in AP or AR, accounting internship or related experience.
  • Strong accuracy, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to manage confidential information and communicate effectively.
Preferred:
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Sage, Quick Books, SAP, or Net Suite.
  • Knowledge of AP workflows, AR collections processes, and/or credit policies.
