Accounts Receivable Clerk

Overview

Joseph Buick GMC is seeking a detail‑oriented and dependable Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our growing automotive dealership team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience handling dealership accounting processes.

• Process customer payments and maintain accurate accounts receivable records
• Reconcile accounts and investigate payment discrepancies
• Prepare and submit daily deposits
• Contact customers regarding outstanding balances
• Work closely with the accounting office, sales, and service departments
• Maintain accurate documentation and filing systems
• Assist with month‑end closing tasks as needed

• Previous accounts receivable or accounting experience required
• Automotive dealership experience preferred
• Familiarity with dealership management systems (Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealer track, etc.) is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• Professional attitude and strong customer service skills
