Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join the accounting team at Gorilla Glue. This role is responsible for supporting core accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and contributing to month-end and year-end close activities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Accounts Payable, General Ledger accounting, and reconciliations within a fast-paced manufacturing or consumer products environment.
- Perform daily accounting operations, including participation in the full accounts payable cycle.
- Perform daily General Ledger activities, prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes.
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
- Analyze Accounts payable data and identify discrepancies or process improvement opportunities.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including operations, procurement, and finance.
- Assist with accruals, fixed assets, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support process improvements and automation initiatives within accounting functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong experience with Accounts Payable, General Ledger accounting, month-end close, and account reconciliations.
- Experience in manufacturing or consumer goods industry preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Oracle Fusion experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement mindset.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
