Senior Accountant | Operations | High-Visibility Growth Opportunity

Are you an accounting professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, multi-entity environment where no two days look the same?

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a high-performing finance team supporting a diverse and growing franchise portfolio. This is a highly visible role offering direct exposure to accounting leadership and operational teams, with the opportunity to take ownership of complex, fast-moving accounting processes.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys digging into details, building structure in evolving environments, and partnering closely with both finance and operations leaders to drive accuracy and insight across the business.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out
  • Work closely with senior accounting leadership and cross‑functional operational teams
  • Own a key portion of a multi‑entity franchise accounting structure
  • High visibility role with exposure to both corporate and field operations
  • Opportunity to strengthen processes, improve reporting, and drive efficiencies
  • Fast‑paced environment with variety, ownership, and continuous learning
  • Strong long‑term growth potential within a well‑established, expanding organization
  • Collaborative culture that values accountability, curiosity, and initiative
What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will take ownership of the franchise accounting function across a multi‑entity structure, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and insight in all financial reporting and operational data.

  • Managing the full accounting cycle for franchise operations, including revenue recognition, royalty billing, and AR management
  • Serving as the primary accounting contact for franchise‑related financial activity
  • Overseeing invoicing, cash application, and reconciliation of franchisee payments
  • Monitoring and resolving outstanding balances, deductions, and billing discrepancies
  • Preparing period‑end franchise revenue schedules and reconciliations
  • Leading close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Supporting multi‑entity financial reporting and variance analysis
  • Partnering with operations and franchise leaders to provide financial insight and support decision‑making
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and audit support activities
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and GAAP standards across all responsibilities
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
  • Experience in multi‑entity, AR‑heavy, or franchise/retail/CPG environments strongly preferred
  • High proficiency in Excel and comfort working with large data sets and reconciliations
  • Experience with ERP systems (Sage 100 preferred)
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
The Ideal Candidate

This role is a great fit for someone who:

  • Enjoys owning processes end‑to‑end and being the go‑to accounting resource
  • Thrives in a fast‑paced, evolving environment with a high degree of variety
  • Likes working closely with both finance and operational leaders
  • Is proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working independently
  • Wants visibility and long‑term career growth in a dynamic organization
What You’ll Gain

This is more than a traditional Senior Accountant role—you’ll gain exposure to complex franchise operations, work directly with leadership, and play a key role in improving financial visibility across the organization. You’ll also have the opportunity to grow your career within a collaborative, people‑focused environment that invests in professional development and long‑term success.
