Controller Position

We are looking for an experienced Controller to support a healthcare organization on a contract basis in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role will oversee end-to-end accounting activities across a complex, multi-entity environment and help maintain accurate financial operations for a growing network of urgent care locations. The position is well suited for a hands-on finance specialist with strong attention to detail who can bring immediate structure, insight, and leadership while the organization completes its permanent hiring process.

Responsibilities:

• Direct full-cycle accounting activities across multiple legal entities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of month-end and related financial processes.
• Manage financial oversight for a multi-state healthcare operation, supporting consistent accounting practices across more than 45 urgent care sites.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules for a business with significant revenue volume.
• Maintain strong controls over financial records and documentation, including the organization, review, and retention of accounting support materials.
• Coordinate onsite meetings and collaborate with operational and finance stakeholders in Cincinnati, Ohio to align reporting and business priorities.
• Support interim controllership needs by providing leadership, resolving accounting issues, and sustaining day-to-day finance operations during the contract engagement.
• Compile and validate financial and operational documentation to improve accuracy, audit readiness, and reporting reliability.
