Corporate Accountant

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 100% On-Site

trak group is partnering with a growing manufacturer in Cincinnati, OH to place a Corporate Accountant. This is a newly created role within an organization that has expanded significantly in recent years and is building its accounting function to match. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Accounting, you'll contribute to financial reporting, SEC compliance, and month-end close in a high‑visibility environment.

• Support preparation and filing of SEC reports including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and annual Proxy Statement
• Perform month-end close activities and assist with consolidated financial statement preparation
• Prepare account reconciliations using Black Line
• Administer and maintain lease accounting software and equity compensation programs
• Assist with tax provision preparation and income and sales tax filings
• Serve as a point of contact for external and internal auditors and support audit schedule preparation
• Monitor SOX compliance and assist with internal control remediation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, operational partners, and accounting teams

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• SEC reporting experience required
• Public accounting or manufacturing experience required
• Active CPA license preferred
• Experience with JD Edwards or Oracle ERP a plus
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong communicator with high attention to detail and a self-starter mentality
