As a Tax Accountant II, you will take ownership of preparing, analyzing, and filing complex indirect tax returns across multiple jurisdictions. This role is designed for a tax professional who has prior indirect tax experience and is ready to work more independently while contributing to process improvement and broader tax initiatives.

- High visibility within the accounting and finance organization
- Preparing and filing Sales & Use Tax, Business Personal Property, Business Licenses, and Unclaimed Property returns
- Assisting with journal entries and tax-related account reconciliations
- Supporting audits and internal tax inquiries
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement
- Completing special projects and additional assignments as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or taxation
- 3+ years of professional experience
- Prior experience preparing indirect tax returns
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- CPA or Master’s in Tax (or pursuing) is a plus
- Experience with Oracle and/or Avalara is a plus
