Job Details

We are looking for a motivated Accounting Manager to join our Corporate Accounting team. This individual will play a key leadership role in overseeing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced corporate environment, enjoys mentoring others, and is passionate about improving processes while partnering cross-functionally across the business.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process. Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Maintain and strengthen SOX compliance and internal control processes
  • Partner with Finance, FP&A, Internal Audit, and business leaders across the organization. Analyze financial results and investigate variances
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes through automation and continuous improvement. Support internal and external audit activities
  • Mentor, coach, and develop accounting professionals while fostering a collaborative team environment. Participate in special projects, system implementations, and strategic finance initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA designation strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience. Prior experience leading or supervising accounting teams
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting. Experience with month-end close and general ledger accounting
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls. ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities
Preferred Experience
  • Fortune 500 or large corporate accounting environment. Public accounting (Big 4 or national firm) experience
  • Experience leading process improvement or automation initiatives. Financial reporting and audit support experience
