- Lead the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Review financial statements, account reconciliations, and key accounting activities.
- Manage, coach, and develop accounting staff while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Partner with business leaders to analyze financial performance and provide meaningful business insights.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and profitability reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and increase operational efficiency.
- Support cross-functional initiatives, strategic projects, and executive reporting.
- Drive consistency, accuracy, and best practices across financial operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Progressive accounting experience with prior leadership or supervisory responsibilities (or someone ready to step into a leadership role).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Experience leading projects, improving processes, and partnering with operational stakeholders.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented professional who enjoys mentoring others and making an impact.
