Accounting Manager

We're partnering with a growing, private equity-backed organization seeking an Accounting Manager to lead core accounting operations, supervise a team, and serve as a key liaison between accounting, leadership, and ownership.

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Oversee general ledger accounting, reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement preparation
• Supervise and develop two Senior Accountants
• Provide oversight to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable staff
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial reporting
• Partner with executive leadership on accounting and operational initiatives
• Prepare reporting and analyses for private equity ownership
• Translate financial results into clear, business-friendly insights for non-accounting stakeholders
• Support audits, process improvements, and internal control initiatives
• Help build scalable accounting processes to support continued growth

• Active CPA license required
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior Big4 or Private Equity experience
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of financial accounting and month-end close
• Experience reviewing reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication and executive presence
