Accounts Payable Lead

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to lead daily accounts payable operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role is responsible for overseeing a small team, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing, maintaining vendor records, supporting compliance initiatives, and driving continuous process improvements. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of accounts payable professionals.
• Oversee high-volume invoice processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate year-end vendor reporting and compliance activities.
• Maintain and administer financial records and related documentation.
• Manage vendor onboarding and record maintenance processes.
• Coordinate electronic payment setup, validation, and processing.
• Review invoice batches and monitor workflow efficiency.
• Supervise payment processing activities, including check and electronic payments.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, exceptions, and account issues.
• Monitor payment controls and assist with cash management activities.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to support business objectives.
