SUMMARYThe Junior EDGAR Filing Agent/Print Support is responsible for converting and filing documents with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on EDGAR systems. Additionally, this role will coordinate print jobs for multiple clients and typeset regulatory financial documents using Microsoft Word and/or Adobe InDesign.
KEYACCOUNTABILITIES EDGAR CONVERSIONS
- Converts and submits level 1 EDGAR filings with no guidance from management.
- Provides high-quality and prompt turn-around of converted EDGAR documents allowing for timely client review before filing.
- Converts documents to an EDGAR acceptable format and submits them to SEC, on behalf of client, on schedule, and in compliance with regulations.
- Confirms and forwards SEC acceptance notices to client.
- Provides an EWFS to the billing department after every EDGAR job has been completed daily.
- Typesets in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Word.
- Reviews, edits, proofs, and packages projects to prepare materials for printing.
- Updates “Print Board” with job specs and status.
- Assists manager with upcoming projects.
- Helps maintain summary prospectus websites to ensure clients are following regulations.
- Performs clerical and administrative support tasks for associates.
- Daily contact with clients regarding EDGAR filing and Print services, clarification of requests, reviews printing needs, etc.
- Direct point of contact when management is unavailable.
May perform other duties as required and assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE- 1-2 years of experience working with SEC EDGAR filings.
- 1-2 years of experience working as a typesetter.
- Novaworks GoFiler or similar software.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Adobe Acrobat.
- Typography.
- Troubleshoots issues utilizing creative and critical thinking skills.
- Multitasking, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Initiative-taking, strategic, and meticulous approaches with a strong commitment to quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
