Job Title: Full-time (Entry level) Administrative Assistant (Expected hours are 38 per week)
Location: 8160 Corporate Park Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45242
Salary/rate:$17-$20/hour (based on experience)
As the Administrative Assistant at Rookwood Properties, you will play a crucial role in our corporate office, warmly welcoming visitors and callers. You will be the friendly face of our company, ensuring that everyone feels valued and appreciated. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet visitors, clients, and vendors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate departments or individuals.
- Maintain all common areas and office equipment, ensuring all spaces are clean, organized, and in full working order.
- Oversee all corporate-level general correspondence.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including courier services.
- Schedule and coordinate meeting rooms and appointments.
- Prepare and format documents, making changes in grammar, punctuation, or spelling as needed.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of office and kitchen supplies.
- Assist with event planning, including scheduling, preparing materials, and coordinating logistics.
- Provide general administrative support across departments, including filing, data entry, document management, and other office support tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration is preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and use of the Internet with the ability to learn new or updated software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in spelling, grammar, punctuation, vocabulary, and composition.
- Comfortable operating, navigating, and troubleshooting standard office equipment and systems, including computers, scanners, printers, and copiers.
- Ability to perform the physical tasks associated with an office environment, including standing, walking, and lifting light to moderate items as needed
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
