Position OverviewThe Portal Administrator is responsible for preparing, submitting, and managing invoices through various online payer or customer portals. This role ensures timely and accurate billing, monitors claim status, resolves billing discrepancies, and works with internal teams to maximize reimbursement and maintain compliance.
Responsibilities- Submit claims or invoices through online billing portals.
- Maintain and send out work orders or purchase orders to correct party.
- Review billing information for completeness and accuracy before submission.
- Monitor invoice status and follow up on unpaid or rejected invoices.
- Correct and resubmit rejected invoices as needed.
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
- Communicate with customer, clients, or internal departments to resolve billing issues.
- Verify patient, customer, or insurance information when applicable.
- Prepare billing reports and meet productivity targets.
- Proficiency with data systems and applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new tools, processes, and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High School Diploma or GED
