Generalist, Administrative Assistant To Executive Director

The Generalist - Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director provides broad-based administrative and operational support to an Executive Director and their assigned functional area (e.g., Human Resources, Curriculum & Instruction, Special Education, Pupil Services, or similar divisions). The role is designed to ensure efficient day-to-day operations, support departmental initiatives, and assist with projects aligned to the Executive Director's area of expertise.
This position performs a wide range of professional support duties including coordination of processes, documentation management, financial tracking, and cross-departmental communication. The role requires strong organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications:
Three (3) to five (5) years of administrative, office, or related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong organizational and time management skills. Experience supporting leadership-level administrators preferred. Public sector or school district experience preferred.
Working Conditions:
8 hours per day, 5 days per week and 260 days per school year calendar. Per current Lakota salary schedule, starting at $22.39 per hour, based on verified experience. View the attachment for any special requirements and job description.
