Rental Assistance Administrative Coordinator
St. Vincent de Paul – Cincinnati (SVDP) has served residents of greater Cincinnati for over 150 years with basic needs such as food, medicine, and homelessness prevention through its outreach center in the West End and through fifty-one parish-based volunteer Conferences (chapters). SVDP provides holistic direct assistance and systemic change services while treating neighbors in need with dignity and compassion.
Position Overview: The Rental Assistance Landlord Liaison is a detail-oriented administrative position located within the finance department and dedicated to supporting our homelessness prevention program. This role helps ensure that rent assistance payments are properly documented, accurately processed, and coordinated with social services staff who are working directly with individuals and families in need of assistance.

Hours:
40 hours/week
- Contact landlords to request and collect documentation needed to support rental assistance payments.
- Obtain landlord statements showing rent due or past due, copies of leases and/or property management agreements when necessary, and any other documentation needed to support payment processing.
- Confirm the appropriate payee, payment amount, mailing address, and required tax documentation, including W-9 forms.
- Track all outstanding documentation requests and provide consistent follow-up until all required landlord documentation has been received.
- Manage a high volume of cases while keeping requests moving forward in a timely and organized manner.
- Save and organize electronic copies of documentation in accordance with internal procedures.
- Enter accurate case and payment-related information into the organization’s case management system.
- Coordinate closely with social services advocates and provide timely updates regarding documentation status, outstanding needs, and potential delays.
- Experience in accounts payable, case management support, or a related administrative role
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and follow-up tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with accounting and social services staff.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Good written, verbal, and telephone communication skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with landlords, community partners, and internal staff; customer service experience a plus
- Ability to maintain electronic records and enter information accurately into a case management system.
- High School diploma, or equivalent
- Experience working in a nonprofit environment in programs serving vulnerable populations a plus.
