Lube Technician

The Lube Technician is responsible for performing basic vehicle maintenance services with efficiency, accuracy, and a high level of customer satisfaction. This entry-level role supports the service department by completing routine oil changes, inspections, and light maintenance while maintaining dealership quality standards.

• Perform oil and filter changes in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards
• Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and communicate findings to service advisors
• Check and top off vehicle fluids including transmission, coolant, brake, and windshield washer fluids
• Inspect tires for wear and proper inflation; rotate tires as needed
• Replace air filters, cabin filters, wiper blades, and bulbs
• Conduct battery testing and replacement when necessary
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations
• Accurately document services performed and report any additional repair needs
• Support other technicians as needed with general shop duties

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous automotive experience or technical training is a plus but not required
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and systems preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
