- Lead writing, editing, and coordination of proposals, SOQs, RFQs, RFP responses, and qualifications packages
- Translate technical content into clear, persuasive messaging aligned with client priorities
- Support pursuit strategy development and help shape win themes
- Partner with estimators, project executives, SMEs, marketing, and business development teams
- Participate in kickoff meetings and ongoing pursuit reviews
- Coordinate technical input and maintain accountability across contributors
- Maintain proposal content libraries, resumes, project descriptions, and corporate qualifications
- Develop and manage reusable boilerplate and pursuit templates
- Manage document collaboration platforms and multi-firm content sharing
- Develop compliance matrices and ensure submissions meet solicitation requirements
- Review and edit content for clarity, consistency, tone, and accuracy
- Manage version control and document organization
- Manage proposal schedules, deadlines, and deliverables
- Lead internal check-ins and maintain pursuit timelines
- Coordinate final submission formatting, uploads, and production
- Assist with opportunity research and client intelligence
- Track pursuit lessons learned, client feedback, and debrief insights
- Help tailor messaging to specific clients and industry sectors
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
- 3+ years of proposal writing or pursuit coordination experience in construction, engineering, AEC, professional services, or government contracting
- Strong understanding of RFP/RFQ/SOQ processes and procurement cycles
- Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
Adobe InDesign and CRM platforms a plus - Familiarity with SharePoint or web-based collaboration platforms
- Working knowledge of construction delivery methods such as Design-Build, CMAR, or Progressive Design-Build preferred
- Graphic Design skills
- APMP certification or formal proposal training
- Experience supporting design-build or alternative delivery pursuits
- Familiarity with government procurement platforms (SAM.gov or state/local portals)
