Job Description Summary

Are you ready to see your future take flight? At GE Aerospace, we are advancing aviation technologies for today and tomorrow. Your work will contribute to the production of advanced jet engines, components, and integrated systems that power commercial and military aircraft. You’ll be part of a team that embraces your drive, your curiosity, and your unique ideas and perspectives. Most importantly, you’ll share in our pride and purpose that affects the lives of millions around the world!

We are looking for a Global Logistics Digital Product Manager to own the vision, roadmap, and value delivery for GE Aerospace’s logistics execution products spanning Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS). This role connects global inbound supply, internal plant/MRO logistics, spares distribution, and new‑make assembly flows into an integrated, end‑to‑end logistics capability. The Product Manager partners with logistics operations, digital technology, data/analytics, 3PL/carrier partners to standardize processes and digitize execution.

Outcomes will be enhanced safety, quality and delivery to our internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Vision & Strategy – Define and communicate the product vision for integrated logistics execution (WMS + TMS) across inbound, internal, spares, and new‑make flows. Set 2–3 year roadmap themes to include standardization, automation, visibility, cost‑to‑serve reduction.
  • Process Standardization – Define the “global template” for core warehouse and transportation processes (receiving, put‑away, picking/packing/shipping, yard/dock, tendering, carrier compliance, exceptions). Own the process‑to‑system fit and a controlled exceptions model by region/site.
  • Integrated WMS–TMS Workflow Design – Own cross‑system workflows: order release to warehouse, shipment creation, load plan, dock scheduling, parcel vs freight logic, hazardous shipments, export documentation triggers, and returns. Ensure handoffs are robust and minimize manual touches.
  • Data & Reporting Requirements – Define core WMS/TMS data outputs and KPI definitions (dock‑to‑stock, pick accuracy, system‑directed execution rate, tender acceptance, carrier OT, cost per shipment, exceptions). Ensure events and master data support reliable reporting and control‑tower visibility.
  • Delivery & Deployment – Partner with IT, PMO, and regional transformation leads to deliver WMS/TMS enhancements and deployments on time and within scope. Define and own acceptance criteria, support testing (UAT), and manage go/no‑go decisions from a product perspective. Support pilots and phased rollouts across regions and sites.
  • Stakeholder Alignment & Governance – Facilitate decision‑making forums with regional leaders and functional partners. Communicate roadmap progress, trade‑offs, and decisions clearly. Maintain a decision log and ensure alignment between global standards and regional needs.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or related field + 5 years in logistics, warehousing, transportation or supply chain roles
Desired Characteristics
  • 3+ years in product management, product owner, process ownership, or equivalent specific to WMS/ TMS.
  • Hands‑on experience with WMS and/or TMS platforms and operational workflows as a super‑user, configuration lead, or business owner.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate operational needs into user stories/requirements and successfully deliver in partnership with IT
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with data‑driven decision making
  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, industrial, or other complex manufacturing environments
  • Exposure to lean / continuous improvement practices, including problem‑solving, standard work, and visual management
  • Familiarity with integration of TMS with ERP, WMS, and freight audit systems
  • Prior participation in or exposure to GE’s lean operating model or similar enterprise‑wide transformation frameworks
