Overview
Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Science is seeking a strategic, mission‑driven leader to serve as Dean of Financial Services and Development. In this highly visible role, you’ll partner directly with the President to shape the College’s financial strategy, oversee critical operations, and ensure long‑term sustainability. You’ll also play a key role in advancing student success by supporting financial access, strengthening donor partnerships, and helping drive future enrollment growth—making a meaningful impact on the next generation of healthcare professionals.
ResponsibilitiesThe Dean of Financial Services and Development will report to the President of Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Science (GSC) to advise the President and other Trihealth administrators regarding the financial operations of the College. This dean will provide direction and oversight for all financial areas of the college including financial aid, student accounts, and accounts receivable and will prepare all monthly, annual, or requested financial reports for the President of GSC, the GSC Board of Trustees, regulatory agencies, and internal and external auditors.
The Dean of Financial Services and Development collaborates with the Good Samaritan Hospital (GSH) Foundation in activities to support donor/alumni relationships and the awarding of student scholarships and funds managed by the GSH Foundation. Working collaboratively with the Dean of Enrollment Management, this individual provides strategy and technical/operational direction to enhance the current and future enrollment at GSC.
- Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field with higher education and financial aid experience.
- Higher education in Accounting.
- Must have experience with accounting/billing software;
Student Information Systems (SIS), government/regulatory rules around managing student accounts, and spreadsheets. - 4‑5 years management experience in accounting, business, professional or higher education.
