They need someone specifically with fresh food and produce procurement as they grow and expand their product lines. • Identify and develop key suppliers to ensure cost management and service levels.
• Manage negotiations and pricing.
• Diversify the supplier base by region and improve availability during supply disruptions.
• Optimize procurement processes and reduce lead times.
• Develop KPIs and analytics within the organization to improve decision making.
• Deliver cost savings and align with the budget and financial goals of the Company.
• Work cross functionally to improve communication and alignment across the different stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Food and Beverage experience required.
• At least 7 years of procurement/sourcing experience and 3 specifically with fresh produce.
• Proven track record in achieving cost savings and enhancing supplier portfolios through effective sourcing.
• Strong negotiation skills, particularly in supplier sourcing.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Spanish speaking is a plus.
• SAP experience is also preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%

• Compensation $140,000 plus a 15% bonus target that can go as high as 30%. This can be higher for well-qualified candidates.
