The following list of duties is not exhaustive and may be revised by management as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Operates as the department’s Marketing and Communications representative.
  • Provides and maintains social media and FFTS website’s content.
  • Corresponds to day-to-day requests/inquiries via the FFTS email or website.
  • Designs and creates flyers and signs for upcoming events.
  • Collaborates and assists with monthly community meals.
  • Works as a liaison to growing list of clients making weekly reminder calls, coordinating events/project schedules, etc.
  • Communicates with rescue partners and staff to ensure food is delivered safely and in a timely manner.
  • Ensures FFTS stays current and in compliance with all Local, State, and Federal laws.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Skilled at writing, planning, and strategizing.
  • Highly organized with an eye for details.
  • Possesses the ability to juggle multiple projects at a time.
  • Strong time management and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal, in addition to interpersonal.
  • Effective relation building capability in order to maintain good relationships with all departments, associates, and funders.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in English and or Communications preferred.
  • 3-5 years of applicable experience desired.
Physical Requirements

The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.   • Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, and move marketing materials, event supplies, or food boxes weighing up to 25
    -50 lbs.
  • Ability to walk, bend, stretch, twist, and navigate the pantry, warehouse, or on-site event spaces safely.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and the physical ability to travel between community events, partner agencies, or drop-off sites in the Greater Cincinnati region.
Work Environment
  • Work takes place in a split environment, spending time in a typical office/desk setting and a working food pantry floor.
  • Involves frequent interaction with the public, including volunteers, donors, and food-insecure clients from diverse backgrounds. May occasionally work outdoors during seasonal community events or food drives.
  • The atmosphere can be fast paced, particularly during peak food pantry distribution hours, requiring the ability to focus amidst occasional interruptions and noise.
  • While primarily standard business hours, the role requires schedule flexibility, including occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends to attend community meals or outreach events.
