ABOUT THE COMPANY

Monti is a growing manufacturing organization focused on delivering high-quality solutions to OEMs, distributors, contractors, and other B2B customers. The company is committed to operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and building scalable processes that support continued growth. The Director of Commercial Operations will play an instrumental role in enhancing commercial execution and strengthening customer relationships across the business.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • Partner with the VP of Sales & Marketing to evaluate, improve, and standardize sales processes, workflows, roles, and operating rhythms.
  • Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies and implement practical solutions that improve accountability and execution.
  • Enhance the end-to-end customer experience by improving communication, responsiveness, reliability, and follow-through.
  • Support strategic customer relationships and participate in discussions involving pricing agreements, service expectations, contracts, rebates, and long-term supply arrangements.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and Engineering to improve commercial workflows and reduce operational friction.
  • Improve quoting, pricing support, estimating coordination, and order management processes to increase speed, accuracy, and margin visibility.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members while establishing strong performance expectations, accountability, and communication practices.
  • Develop and implement KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools that improve operational visibility and business decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that support scalable growth, improved customer service, and stronger commercial execution.
IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, ideally in a high-mix, engineered-to-order environment.
  • Demonstrated success improving, standardizing, and transforming business processes within a growing organization.
  • Experience leading teams in technical, commercial roles.
  • Strong understanding of B2B customer relationships, quoting and order management processes, and commercial execution.
  • Experience leveraging ERP, CRM, reporting tools, and data analytics to improve workflows and business performance.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10%.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience with in electrical manufacturing, industrial equipment, automation, controls, or related B2B markets is highly desirable.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
