GCF is seeking a Senior Manager, Executive Support & Governance to serve as a trusted partner to the President & CEO and COO, supporting executive effectiveness, Board governance, organizational alignment, and strategic execution.

This high-impact role coordinates the executive office, supports the Board and committees, and advances GCF’s EOS planning and accountability processes – offering a high-capacity professional meaningful exposure to executive leadership, governance, strategic planning, and community philanthropy while helping one of Greater Cincinnati’s most influential institutions advance its mission.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Executive Support & Coordination

  • Partner with the CEO and COO to coordinate priorities, commitments, meetings, and strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare executive briefings, presentations, reports, communications, and meeting materials.
  • Track action items and commitments to ensure timely follow-through and organizational alignment.

Governance & Board Relations

  • Coordinate Board and committee meetings, agendas, Board books, minutes, resolutions, and governance documentation.
  • Maintain governance calendars and support adherence to bylaws, policies, and governance best practices.
  • Serve as a key liaison to Board members and support Board recruitment, onboarding, education, and engagement.

EOS & Organizational Alignment

  • Partner with the COO and EOS Integrator to support quarterly and annual planning and accountability processes.
  • Coordinate EOS meetings, scorecards, Rocks (Goals), documentation, and action-item tracking.
  • Help ensure organizational priorities and leadership commitments remain visible, aligned, and on track.

Project Management & Organizational Effectiveness

  • Coordinate cross-functional strategic initiatives and special projects from planning through completion.
  • Develop systems that improve communication, accountability, decision-making, and execution.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline executive and governance processes and strengthen organizational effectiveness.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in executive support, project management, governance, operations, organizational effectiveness, or a related field.
  • Experience working with senior executives, Boards, or high-level stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of executive- and Board-level materials.
  • Experience with Board governance, committee coordination, or structured planning processes preferred.
  • Experience with EOS or a similar operating system is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional judgment, discretion, professionalism, and follow-through.
