Julius C Howe Asphalt Sealing Co is seeking an experienced Skid Steer Operator to join our team and play a key role in our asphalt projects. This position requires operating skid steers, mill attachment and other heavy equipment to prepare surfaces, move materials and assist with all phases of asphalt work in residential and commercial paving projects

• Operate skid steer with mill attachment and other heavy equipment to assist with asphalt paving.
• Perform grading, excavation and material transport as required for site preparation.
• Maintain and inspect skid steer machinery to ensure it remains in peak operating condition.
• Work closely with asphalt crews to support paving, compaction and finishing tasks.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and operate equipment responsibly at all times.
• Assist with job site cleanup and material handling as needed.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow.

• Prior experience operating a skid steer in an asphalt paving or construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of asphalt paving, grading, and excavation techniques
  .
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to read and follow grading plans and work orders
  .
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company and OSHA guidelines.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
• Dependable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team.

Full-time position

Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities as needed

Work is outdoors in varying weather conditions
