Construction Superintendent Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Superintendent to oversee the daily on-site supervision of subcontractors, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

• Provide daily on-site supervision of subcontractors.
• Monitor contractor production, schedule, and performance, as well as coordinate on-site subcontractor scheduling.
• Manage subcontractor Daily Production Reports.
• Conduct safety audits and assist with contractor quality control and safety at construction locations.
• Assist subcontractors with understanding and complying with Federal procedures and rules.
• Maintain 100% compliance with safety standards and accountability in all mandatory and regulatory requirements.
• Take necessary actions when behaviors or conditions may be unsafe.
• Promptly report and address all potential safety concerns, incidents, and issues.
• Ensure all submittals comply with contract requirements.
• Review plans and specifications to ensure requirements are met for each construction process.
• Review all catalog cuts and material submittals for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Ensure effective and timely preventive and corrective actions are taken to eliminate or minimize recurrence of problems.
• Conduct pre-final inspections, establish punch lists if required, and ensure all deficiencies are corrected.
• Submit as-builts on finished projects.

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience
• Experience in commercial construction
• Experience in new commercial construction projects

• Healthcare construction experience is preferred but not required.

The work environment involves overseeing construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and coordinating with various subcontractors. The role requires a commitment to safety and quality control, with a focus on effective communication and problem-solving to ensure project success.

This is a Permanent position based out of Cincinnati, OH.

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $105000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Cincinnati,OH.
