PositionSummary
MGI is seeking an experienced construction leader with strong coordination and leadership skills experienced in managing multi‑million dollar healthcare construction projects. This role will have you traveling outside the state of Tennessee, living and working for 1+ year on large projects. MGI is very flexible on travel for top tier supers and will work with you on travel arrangements. This is a career opportunity, not a job hire.
Skills& Experience Requirements
- Ability to travel and work for long periods of time out of state.
- 8+ years construction superintendent experience
- Healthcare construction experience (Required)
- Coordination – Proven ability to run complex healthcare projects
- Proficient with Procore
- Effective communicator
- Federal contract experience (Preferred)
- Oversee all on‑site personnel, electricians, subcontractors, and vendors etc.
- Collaborate with foremen to drive execution
- Serve as primary contact for contracting officers
- Assist with planning, coordination, and execution initiatives to achieve timely results
- Ensure compliance with national codes and safety standards
- Schedule inspections and maintain documentation for certifications
- Procure materials and control expenses
- Identify risks, resolve issues, and conduct safety audits
- Implement quality control and oversee testing, commissioning, and handover
