We're partnering with a nationally recognized design-build construction firm to identify a Director of Business Development who will drive growth initiatives throughout the Cincinnati market and surrounding region.

With continued expansion across the Midwest, they are investing in strategic growth and looking for a relationship-driven leader to help strengthen their presence in the Cincinnati market.

You'll have the support of an experienced operations and preconstruction team, along with the autonomy to build relationships, create opportunities, and make a direct impact on the business.
What You'll Do- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive commercial and industrial construction growth
- Build and maintain relationships with owners, developers, brokers, architects, engineers, and industry partners
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new project opportunities throughout the Cincinnati region
- Lead networking efforts, client outreach, and participation in industry associations and events
- Collaborate with operations and preconstruction teams on proposals, presentations, and project pursuits
- Maintain a healthy pipeline and provide market intelligence to leadership
Convert new opportunities into long‑term client relationships and repeat business
- 5+ years of business development, sales, or client development experience within the construction industry
- Experience working for a general contractor, design‑build firm, construction management company, or within the AEC industry
- Strong understanding of construction project delivery methods and preconstruction services
- Demonstrated success developing and closing construction‑related opportunities
- Established network within the Cincinnati construction market is highly preferred
- Comfortable with prospecting, networking, and building relationships from the ground up
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
