Lead Superintendent – Commercial Construction
Location:
Cincinnati, Ohio area. Salary: $115,000 - $140,000 per year.
We are a full‑service commercial construction and land development company with over 30 years of experience delivering multi‑family, senior living, hospitality, healthcare, and commercial projects. Our in‑house teams cover every phase of the project lifecycle—from estimating and engineering to construction and accounting—allowing us to move faster, coordinate seamlessly, and deliver results our clients can count on.
Responsibilities- Lead daily field operations for commercial construction projects from mobilization through closeout.
- Manage on‑site subcontractors, vendors, schedules, deliveries, safety, and quality control.
- Oversee commercial projects ranging from approximately $5 million to $25 million.
- Partner closely with project management teams to maintain schedule, budget, and project goals.
- Communicate clearly with owners, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
- Identify and resolve field issues while keeping project leadership informed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and productive jobsite.
- Hold subcontractors and field teams accountable for performance, schedule, and workmanship.
- Represent the company professionally while serving as a manager, leader, team member, and project owner.
- 5 to 20 years of commercial construction superintendent experience preferred.
- Experience managing commercial construction projects between $5 million and $25 million preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive projects forward without heavy oversight.
- Understanding that the superintendent role requires management, leadership, teamwork, and accountability.
- Ability to coordinate subcontractors, manage field schedules, and maintain jobsite quality and safety.
- Commercial ground‑up, renovation, or large‑scale project experience preferred.
- OSHA certification preferred.
