At HGC, a Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading large-scale, complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout while ensuring successful delivery on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards. This role provides strategic leadership for project teams, serves as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders, and is accountable for project financial performance, risk management, and operational excellence.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout, ensuring successful delivery of scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of project plans, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers, Project Engineers, and project teams.
  • Collaborate with Preconstruction during bidding, subcontractor procurement, buyout, and scope review.
  • Manage project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and change management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Oversee project documentation, including contracts, submittals, RFIs, procurement logs, and project records using Procore and other project management tools.
  • Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to support successful project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with Owner Contracts, company policies, and all OSHA, EPA, ODH, and site-specific safety requirements.
  • Support business development efforts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
