Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager in the Cincinnati, OH market. The role supports a long-standing partnership with a well-respected distributor with over 100 years in business.
Responsibilities- Run commercial construction projects from the time a job is booked through closeout.
- May be assisted by a Project Engineer, but is capable of managing projects independently.
- Prepare and review project documentation (subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, submittal packages); track material deliveries; coordinate with project site contacts for material deliveries; utilize internal scheduling and detailing software; participate in and contribute to internal meetings focused on continuous improvement.
- Interface directly with customers and suppliers, and react expeditiously to jobsite issues.
- Depending on the needs of a specific branch office, may be tasked with Estimating.
- Experience as a Senior Project Manager in commercial construction or equivalent.
- Ability to manage projects independently, with or without a Project Engineer.
- Strong communication skills with customers and suppliers.
- Familiarity with internal scheduling and detailing software.
