Trane in Cincinnati is hiring a Construction Project Specialist/Superintendent! The Construction Project Specialist/Superintendent is responsible for execution of smaller turnkey projects including managing of subcontractors, administration, implementation, and customer satisfaction. They can take the lead on specific assigned tasks on larger turnkey projects with little oversight. The Construction Project Specialist/Superintendent will manage a portfolio of smaller turnkey projects and ensure that quality, and Safety standards are maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and developing communication plans with both internal and external stakeholders to provide timely project updates.
  • Lead all aspects of project administration including responsibility for navigating governing agencies requirements, including state, city, county, federal and local level, and proactively manage projects to business compliance, project documentation, and safety guidelines.
  • Validate project scope, cost, schedule by reviewing contract documents, holding internal meetings and establishing customer expectations.
  • Utilize properly qualified subcontractors, award subcontracts, manage subcontractor execution, and collaborate with subcontractors to establish communication guidelines for project progress, project meetings, billing expectations and project safety.
  • Financially manage aspects of projects including forecasted cost/revenue, forecasted cost at completion, monitoring expenses, collections support, applied cost, and oversee preparation and communications for monthly backlog review with leaders.
Qualifications
  • Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Project Management Degree;
    Combination of degree or 1-3 years of experience.
  • Experience with Project Schedules / PM Construction Software.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations.

Annual Base Salary Range: $21.89 - $40.34 per hour. Compensation Type:
