Overview

Wilshire Pacific Builders is an Arizona-based company that specializes in the construction and renovation of multifamily housing projects throughout the US.

We are currently seeking an experienced, goal-oriented Construction Superintendent to join our fast-growing team. Projects are fast-paced and require great attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

The Construction Superintendent will directly supervise day-to-day operations of multifamily housing renovation projects. The role supports and follows directions from the Project Executive, Project Managers, and Ownership on all facets of the project, with a strong emphasis on renovation and remodeling.

Qualifications
  • Experience in construction renovations with ability to manage multiple vendors and subs, coordination, control, and meeting deadlines. Excellent follow-through and organizational skills.
  • Read and understand residential blueprints and job specs. Process required documentation for company and agency needs.
  • Effectively communicate with management, customers, vendors, and sub-contractors using email, phone, daily logs (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). Use of computer, cameras, printers, and cellphones daily at job sites.
  • Track punch list issues until completed and signed off.
  • Understand job sites and manage tasks, deadlines, subordinates, and sub-contractors efficiently. Demonstrated management and leadership.
  • Skill in construction tasks such as millwork, carpentry, framing, light plumbing, light electrical, drywall, and other trades as needed; experience with exterior work such as ADA concrete requirements.
  • Work off hours as required by schedule. Typical schedule M‑F 8‑5.
  • Multifamily housing renovation experience. Willing to train the right person with the right attitude, work ethic, communication and leadership skills.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
