Field Superintendent

Field Superintendent – Cincinnati, OH

Ohio Basement Authority, a Groundworks Company, is seeking a Field Superintendent to oversee field operations for foundation repair, basement waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation, and concrete lifting projects.

• Plan, organize, and supervise onsite construction activities specific to foundation repair and related groundwork services.
• Manage and coordinate multiple crews and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
• Monitor project schedules and adjust resources to meet deadlines.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA standards.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets design specifications and company standards.
• Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Lead safety meetings and training sessions to promote a safety‑first culture.
• Oversee logistics including equipment, materials, and site access to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Mentor field staff and junior superintendents to develop their skills.
• Investigate incidents or accidents and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
• Assist with budgeting and cost control related to field operations.
• Report to work on time each working day.
• Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.

• Minimum 4 years of construction supervision experience, preferably in foundation repair, concrete lifting, or related groundwork.
• Strong knowledge of foundation repair techniques, waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation, and concrete leveling.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors.
• Excellent understanding of safety regulations and ability to enforce them effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project schedules.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with project management software is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Must be able to sit for extended periods, use fine‑motor skills for document handling, have good vision for reading and reviewing documents, and communicate clearly in‑person and by phone. Minimal physical exertion is required; travel to various job sites by car or aircraft is possible.

Full‑time onsite role at 1270 Hillsmith Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45215.

Base salary $60,000–$65,000 DOE with annual bonus potential.
