Job Description & How to Apply Below

Seventeen years. Hundreds of custom homes across Greater Cincinnati. A team that treats every build like it carries their name — because it does.

JDH is looking for a Project Manager who understands that building a custom home is the most personal investment a family will make, and who takes that seriously in every decision, every conversation, and every walkthrough.

What You'll Own

Client Experience

You're the daily point of contact for homeowners building something they've waited years for. Communication isn't a task — it's the job. You set expectations, keep families informed, and make sure the process feels as intentional as the finished product.

Construction Execution

Coordinate daily site activity to deliver homes on time, on budget, and at the quality standard JDH is known for. Manage scheduling, direct subcontractors and vendors, solve problems before they become delays, and maintain momentum from foundation to final walkthrough.

Quality & Compliance

Train, coordinate, and inspect subcontractor work against JDH quality standards. Maintain safe working conditions and ensure compliance with all state and federal site regulations. Keep daily records of progress, completion, and punch lists. The goal: homes delivered with minimal warranty items because the work was done right the first time.

Team & Culture

Provide leadership across the organization. Influence subs, vendors, and internal teams to work collaboratively. Help build the culture of craftsmanship that defines JDH.

What We're Looking For

— Minimum 5 years of residential construction experience with a proven track record managing custom or semi-custom home builds

— Multi-family building experience is a plus

— Comfortable with construction scheduling software, Builder Trend or similar, and standard business technology (phone, iPad, email)

— Bachelor's degree preferred

— Someone who solves problems calmly, communicates clearly, and holds themselves to a high standard without being asked
