- Oversee work performed on‑site
- Assess job priorities and make decisions accordingly
- Communicate with supervisors regarding project progress
- Give instructions on tasks that need to be completed
- Ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain records and logs of work performed, materials, and equipment used
- Understand pump controls and piping configurations
- Understand how SCADA systems operate
- Perform various inspections and maintenance tasks
- Understand basic electrical safety requirements
- Understand landfill drawings and layouts
- Use equipment used on site
- Inventory and request equipment and supplies as needed
- Comply with and enforce company policies and procedures with an emphasis on safety
- Weld HDPE pipe and fittings
- Extrusion weld HDPE liner material
- Implement lock‑out/tag‑out procedures
- High school education
- Minimum of 5 years relevant construction experience
- Experience leading a construction crew
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills
- Customer/Client focus
- Decision making ability
- Ethical conduct
- Problem solving skills
- Project management experience
