Role Description

This is a hybrid contract role based in the Cincinnati Metropolitan Area with the flexibility to complete specific tasks remotely. As an Audio Visual Technician, your responsibilities will include setting up, operating, and troubleshooting AV systems, including audio, video, lighting, and projectors,  will coordinate equipment setup, ensure smooth execution of video conferencing, support event staging and rigging needs, and maintain strong technical efficiency.

Collaboration with clients, venue staff, and team members will be vital to achieving high-quality event production.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Audio Visual (AV) Systems, including setup and operation
  • Experience in troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring on-site system functionality
  • Knowledge of video conferencing systems and integration
  • Skills in setting up and managing video equipment such as projectors and displays
  • Expertise in professional lighting equipment and design
  • Ability to work in hybrid settings combining on-location and remote tasks
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous event production experience and familiarity with staging and rigging equipment are preferred
