Designer; Mid-weight

Hyperquake is an independent strategy and design agency founded in 1986. With offices in Cincinnati, Salt Lake City, and Brooklyn, Hyperquake focuses on building ambitious brands and experiences while specializing in strategic innovation, branded experiences, and scaling organizations for growth.

We are looking for a mid-weight designer with experience in executing thoughtful and beautiful design solutions. Your work should be diverse, spanning across brand/visual identity, campaign concepts, and general art direction. You should have a fundamental understanding of modern user experience. This role will be responsible for working collaboratively with a lead designer and other team members.

The ideal candidate will have a deep curiosity and natural desire to learn new skills and solve client problems through creative solutions.

Hyperquake requires designers to have excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to learn as much as they can about design and related industries. Successful candidates will be knowledgeable and passionate about what Hyperquake does, aware of new trends and techniques, and jump into our work culture with a great attitude and lots of flexibility.

• 3+ years of experience working in design environments
• Bachelor's degree in design or related field or relevant work experience is preferred but not required
• Experience on various social media platforms
• Professional design experience with Adobe CC suite, Figma, and working knowledge of appropriate use of common AI platforms (Mid Journey, Gemini, OpenAI, etc.)
• Strong creative and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively manage time and work assignments
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Ability to lead some project work

• Motion and/or 3D design experience (After Effects, Blender, etc.)
• Proficiency in UX/UI design beyond fundamentals
• Social media strategy / experience with organic content planning and design
