We are looking for a Production Designer to join our Beauty Care team! As a Beauty House Production Designer within P&G, your focus will be on applying graphic expertise and production techniques to transform conceptual designs into print‑ready and/or digital pieces. The Production Designer is responsible for driving final artwork files and specializes in prepress activities, including color correction and profiling, with a concentration on digital printing processes, outputs, and execution.
What You’ll Do:- Execute the graphic adaptation of approved creative concepts across packaging, promotional materials, visual communications, eCommerce, social media, etc.
- Take responsibility for color work and applying basic artwork trapping for various print techniques and suppliers.
- Maintain organized files and documentation, including version control, asset libraries, and production specifications.
- Integrate brand guidelines, regulatory, printing, and graphic specifications throughout all phases of artwork.
- Prepare final press‑ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing.
- BA/BS in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of full‑time design adaptation or graphic production experience, preferably within a creative agency, design studio, or in‑house creative department, ideally focused on consumer packaging.
- A portfolio showcasing production artwork that demonstrates proficiency in both print and digital media.
- Excellent understanding of prepress and print industry standards and familiarity with the 4c process, including spot colors, varnish, foil, die cuts, deboss, embossing, and file standards for print production.
- Strong understanding of color theory and image optimization, with abilities in color correction and assembly skill sets.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to justify print technical choices to multi‑functional partners, providing and receiving feedback, and adapting to constant change.
- Disciplined time and project management skills, able to set priorities and be accountable.
- Expertise in Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft (Outlook, PowerPoint) for Mac, with fluent knowledge of Esko workflows.
