Job Description
We are looking for a Production Designer to join our Beauty Care team! As a Beauty House Production Designer within P&G, your focus will be on applying your graphic expertise and production techniques to independently transform conceptual designs into print-ready and/or digital pieces. The Production Designer is responsible for accurately driving final artwork files and will specialize in prepress activities, specifically color correction and profiling, with a concentration on digital printing, processes, outputs, and execution.

What You’ll Do- Execute the graphic adaptation of approved creative concepts across several consumer touchpoints, including packaging, promotional materials, visual communications, eCommerce, and social media.
- Perform all necessary color work and apply basic artwork trapping for a variety of print techniques and suppliers.
- Maintain organized files and documentation, including version control, asset libraries, and production specifications.
- Effectively integrate brand guidelines, regulatory requirements, and graphic specifications throughout all phases of artwork.
- Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing.
- BA/BS in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or similar field.
- 2‑5 years of full‑time design adaptation or graphic production experience, preferably within a creative agency, design studio, or in‑house creative department with a focus on consumer packaging.
- A portfolio showcasing production artwork that demonstrates a proficient understanding of both print and digital media.
- Excellent understanding of Prepress and Print Industry standards, including spot colors, varnish, foil, die cuts, deboss and/or embossing, and file standards such as bleed, trapping, color separation, resolution, dot shapes, screen print angles, FM/Stochastic, and exposure to a variety of paper and plastic substrates.
- Strong understanding of color theory and image optimization with abilities in color correction and assembly skill sets.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to justify print technical choices with multi‑functional partners, give and receive feedback, and adapt in a constantly changing environment.
- Disciplined with superior time and project management skills, able to set priorities and be accountable.
- Expertise in the latest graphics and business programs:
Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft (Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) for Mac, with fluent knowledge of Esko workflows required.
