Overview
Our client is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support service technicians and customers by handling service and sales orders, answering product-related inquiries, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires prior experience in a call center environment and a background in parts or manufacturing.
Responsibilities
* Handle inbound and outbound calls in a high-volume call center environment
* Respond to customer and service technician inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner
* Provide accurate product and technical information while ensuring compliance with company policies
* Assist customers with identifying correct part numbers and product solutions
* Enter and manage sales orders within OMS/WMS systems
* Prepare quotes, order confirmations, and shipment tracking details
* Maintain and update customer records and files
* Recommend corrective actions or services to resolve customer concerns and complaints
* Follow up on open inquiries to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction
* Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to resolve issues
Supervisory Responsibilities
* None
Minimum Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or call center environment
* Prior experience working in a parts, manufacturing, or industrial environment is required
* Experience with OMS/WMS systems
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
Preferred Qualifications
* Ability to read blueprints
* Experience supporting service technicians or technical teams
Pay Details: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
