We're known for precision craftsmanship, responsive service, and building long‑term relationships with the practices we support. As we grow our presence in the Cincinnati market, we're looking for a driven Customer Service Representative to be the face of Derby Dental for our clients in this area.
AboutThe Role
This is a hybrid customer service and sales role. You'll serve as the primary liaison between Derby Dental Laboratory and our practitioner partners — managing relationships, solving problems, and actively growing our footprint in the Cincinnati market by identifying and converting new practice partnerships.
Core Responsibilities- Client relationship management
- Build and maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with dental practitioners, ensuring each partner feels supported and valued.
- Business development & sales
- Actively prospect and engage dental practices in the Cincinnati area to grow Derby Dental's client base. Present our services, build rapport with new contacts, and convert leads into long‑term partners.
- Onboarding & education
- Guide new practitioner partners through the Derby Dental workflow, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience and familiarity with our services and standards.
- Issue resolution
- Serve as the first point of contact for client concerns, working cross‑functionally with lab teams to resolve issues quickly and professionally.
- Feedback & continuous improvement
- Gather client feedback and relay insights internally to drive ongoing improvements in service quality and client satisfaction.
- Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, case notes, and follow‑ups within company systems.
- 3+ years of customer service, account management, or sales experience
- Background in the dental industry strongly preferred (dental lab, DSO, practice, or supply)
- Comfortable in a sales‑facing role — you enjoy building new relationships and growing a territory
- Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and phone
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
- Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in a hybrid environment
- Familiarity with dental terminology and lab workflows is a strong plus

Work Location:
Hybrid‑remote in Cincinnati, OH with some travel to Louisville, KY
